The PLOTS Spectrometer is a device that attaches to Android or iOS phones, tablets, or any camera capable of close focusing (macro mode). It allows you to collect spectra to identify the elemental composition of various objects, such as light bulbs, based on the emitted light colors.

Key Features:

Reduced number of printed parts.
Improved light sealing around the tube.
Increased sturdiness compared to previous versions.

Printing Recommendations:

The model consists of three parts: a base, a holder, and a tube.
For assembly, use a diffraction grating with 1000 lines per mm, available from scientific supply stores.
Glue the grating to the holder using hot glue or a soldering iron.
Create a narrow slit at the solid end of the tube for optimal spectrum observation.

Once assembled, attach the device to your camera or phone and point it at a bright light source to view the spectrum on your screen.
