Model Description: This model represents a nematocyst, the stinging capsule found within specialized cells of Cnidaria.

Usage: It is intended for studying the anatomy and function of nematocysts, as well as for educational purposes.

Construction Features: The model showcases three stages of nematocyst discharge: 1) the inverted harpoon within the capsule; 2) the capsule pressurizing and opening the operculum to begin eversion of the poison-filled thread; 3) the fully extended thread with exposed barbed hooks.

Printing Recommendations: It is recommended to use a raft for better print quality.
