Construction Features: The hinges consist of additive and subtractive parts, facilitating integration. They come with varying hingelet counts, where one side provides smooth rotation while the other ensures a secure grip.
Printing Recommendations:
- The main working file is
hingePairBase.scad, with other files as small variations of the base design. - When using the hinges, pay attention to the top and bottom orientation to ensure proper alignment of the subtractive parts.
- For the pins, experiment with different filament types to find the best fit for the inner diameter; for example, glow-in-the-dark PLA works well in a 2.06mm diameter hole.
- It is recommended to print in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm.
