Model Description: TimROV is a Scout class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) designed for printing on a 3D printer with a 300mm x 300mm build platform. It is designed to utilize 4 Blue Robotics thrusters and the OpenROV electronics package.

Use Case: This ROV is ideal for underwater research and can be built on a university budget, with ample room for upgrades.

Construction Features: The model includes large clear plastic tubes and aluminum extrusions. All parts are expected to print without support. The final assembly is anticipated to weigh between 7-12 pounds and achieve neutral buoyancy.

Printing Recommendations: It is recommended to use 4 2-foot long extrusions and 2 3-foot long extrusions, along with a pack of square Buna-N O-rings and an acrylic tube. The endcap design is intended to be milled from aluminum to withstand pressure at greater depths.
