Model Description: This model is a cap designed to seal open caulk tubes of 10 ounces or larger.
Purpose: It prevents caulk from drying in the tip, ensuring long-lasting usability.
Construction Features:
- Includes a center post to keep caulk from drying out.
- Side clip for attaching the cap to the push rod when not in use.
Printing Recommendations: ABS is preferred over PLA due to its ability to withstand higher temperatures. Avoid printing the version with the center post in PLA, as it may be too brittle. For better strength, print with a layer height of 0.1 mm.
