Venturi is an improved conduit model that utilizes fluid dynamics principles to enhance water flow efficiency in the 3Dponics hydroponic system. The design features two pipes: the shorter one serves as the air intake, while the longer one acts as the outlet to transport water to the top of the system.
Key features:
- Compact size: The Venturi is smaller than the original conduit, resulting in reduced print time and material usage.
- Optimal placement: It should be installed vertically within the reservoir and submerged in the nutrient solution for best performance.
- Compatibility: Works with dual outlet pumps like HagenMarina 200, enabling multiple systems to be powered from one air pump.
Printing recommendations:
- Settings: Low quality; 0.2 mm; 2 shells; 10% infill.
- Tested on MakerBot, Ultimaker, M3D Micro, and Formlabs printers.
