Model: A modification for Lulzbot Taz 4 and 5 printers.

Description: This model replaces the standard smooth Z rods with Openrail extrusions, aimed at enhancing print stability and accuracy.

Construction Features:

  • Utilizes 20mm x 20mm Openrail extrusions, 500mm in length.
  • Requires 8 mini wheels, 4 eccentrics, and 4 6mm spacers.
  • Compatible with T-slot nuts (M5), Drop-in types are recommended.
  • Optional installation of a micrometer endstop instead of the stock one.

Printing Recommendations: Longer M5 bolts may be needed to reposition the control box, along with several longer M3 bolts. The model includes an improved bearing carriage block with sufficient clearance for the anti-wobble nut.
