The Ada robotic hand from Open Bionics is a fully 3D printable model derived from the Dextrus robotic hand by the Open Hand Project. This design is open source and free to download and use.

Usage: The model is intended for creating a functional robotic hand that can serve as a prosthetic or be used in various robotics projects.

Construction Features: All components for the right hand start with 'R', while components for the left hand start with 'L'. A single hand requires the following 3D printed components:

  • Palm Back Cover
  • PCB Tray
  • Upper PCB Tray
  • Lower PCB Tray

Non-3D printed components:

  • 9 x M3 bolts (6mm length)
  • 13 x M3 threaded push inserts
  • 1m x 0.7mm tendon string
  • 5 x Firgelli 12V linear actuators (PQ12-30-12-P)
  • 1 x Open Bionics Almond electronics
  • 5 x Micro gel fingertip grips
  • Super glue

Printing Recommendations: To ensure quality assembly and prevent deformation during printing, it is advisable to follow the assembly instructions and firmware installation guide provided in the tutorials.
