Thor is an open-source, 3D printable robotic arm featuring six degrees of freedom. Its configuration (yaw-roll-roll-yaw-roll-yaw) is commonly used in many commercial robotic manipulators.

In its extended position, Thor stands approximately 625mm tall and is capable of lifting loads up to 750 grams. The primary goal of this project is to create an affordable tool for teaching robotics in universities and schools. All source files are available for study and modification, allowing users to adapt the model to their specific needs.

The model was developed using only open-source tools: FreeCAD for 3D modeling, KiCAD for PCB design, and GBRL as firmware for control electronics. This ensures access to knowledge at no additional cost.

Printing Recommendations: For successful printing, it is recommended to use high-quality materials and adjust printer settings based on the type of filament used.
