Model: SHRED-Buddy3D is an open-source project designed to recycle leftover plastic materials into pellets for 3D printing.
Purpose: The UPcycler allows the processing of filament remnants, plastic bottles, fishing lines, and other plastics into usable granules.
Construction Features: The device operates on 12V DC and is equipped with a stepper motor for precise feed rate adjustment. It includes forward, backward, and stop functions for easy operation. The system is easily adjustable with fast-swappable tubes and features sharp HSS cutting elements known for their durability.
Printing Recommendations: All parts of the model are available in .STL format, along with firmware for ATtiny85 and wiring diagrams. Note the various plastic materials that can be utilized for optimal results.
