Open Source Laboratory Sample Rotator Mixer and Shaker

This 3D model is a laboratory sample rotator designed for mixing samples in various tube sizes. The device allows for easy adjustment of the mixing angle, enabling use in both horizontal and vertical positions.

Equipped with an on-board Arduino-based microcontroller, it functions as a laboratory shaker as well. Users can customize the device both mechanically and functionally by selecting operation modes via a switch or modifying the code for custom experiments.

The open source laboratory sample rotator can be built by non-specialists for under $30, with an additional $20 for shaking functionality. These devices are technically superior to proprietary commercial equipment, delivering over 90% cost savings.
