Model Description: A mold for creating a silicone sock for E3D V5 extruders.

Purpose: Used to create a protective silicone cover that helps maintain temperature and protects against contaminants.

Design Features: The model consists of outer and inner molds with grooves for easy handling. The silicone suitable for temperatures up to 300°C ensures durability and high-temperature resistance.

Printing Recommendations: Before starting, use soapy water to treat all surfaces that will come into contact with the silicone. Allow to dry, then apply silicone to every tiny edge of both molds. Combine the molds, press them to force out excess silicone, and leave it for a day for complete drying. Check your extruder's heater installation and mirror the model in the slicer if needed.
