This model is an open lamp shade created using an OpenSCAD script. It is designed to be used with affordable Ikea lamps, such as Hemma or Strala, which utilize LED bulbs that do not generate excessive heat.
Construction Features:
- Customizable parameters to create interesting patterns based on filament color.
- Includes two versions: Lamp A and Lamp B, with B being the reverse twist of A.
- A + B represents the union of both structures.
Printing Recommendations:
- Import the generated STL file into your slicer and configure it for vase mode.
- Use LED bulbs and leave the top of the shade open.
- The model is printed upside down to provide a base for holding the lamp socket.
- Ensure that the model dimensions do not exceed your 3D printer's capabilities.
