Open Yag-E is an open-source laser cutter and engraver designed for processing various materials, including foam board for remote-controlled model parts.

Usage: This model is used for creating precise cuts and engravings, making it ideal for hobbyists and small-scale production needs.

Construction Features:

The frame is based on 2020 extrusions, serving as both the structure and linear rails.
The flexibility of the design allows for adaptation to different tasks.
Utilizes NEMA 17 stepper motors and GRBL controller for operation.
Includes safety interlocks and an air filtration system.

Printing Recommendations: It is recommended to print parts on 1/2” (12mm) MDF. Fusion 360 files will be made available as they are prepared.
