The Airduino model is a case designed for a Primary Flight Display (glass cockpit) intended for experimental aircraft. This is an open-source experimental project currently in beta testing.

Purpose: The model serves to create a flight display that can be installed in experimental aircraft.

Construction Features:

  • AirduinoBezel: The front face of the instrument, print as shown.
  • AirduinoLayer2: Screws to the back of the bezel, holding the Arduino Mega 2560 and screen; print flipped over.
  • AirduinoLayer3: Glued to the back of Layer2 to minimize support; print flipped over.
  • AirduinoBatteryPowerCover: Not used in the current version but may be relevant in future developments.
  • AirduinoPitotStaticCover: Attached to the back of Layer3 with silicone sealant and screws to provide airtight seals.
  • AirduinoSensorHolder: An optional part used to hold the battery and other components; print with ribs facing up.
  • AirduinoKnobs: Knobs for the encoder switch, print with openings down.

Printing Recommendations: Follow the instructions for part orientation for optimal results.
