Modular Sponge Organizer with Drainage Platform

This model is a modular sponge organizer featuring an angled drainage platform that directs water straight into the sink. It keeps sponges and cloths well-ventilated, preventing bad odors and moisture buildup.

Key components include:

• Standard Box: fits two on the platform, ideal for sponges or small scrubbers.
• Long Box: fits one on the platform, perfect for larger cloths or items.
• Drainage Platform: its angled shape channels water toward the edge, allowing it to fall directly into the sink.

All containers are separate pieces and easy to wash. The model is built with a clean mesh, no unnecessary internal geometry, is watertight, low-poly, and very easy to edit or resize.

Printing Recommendations: The platform may require supports under the front overhang where the slope meets the sink edge. Use any material you prefer, as the design is not tied to a specific filament. For humid environments, materials like PETG or ASA typically perform better than PLA. The standard box and long box print without supports. The dimensions match my sink, but I’ve included the Blender source file for easy adaptation to your own measurements.
