Compact Lens Hood for Sigma 18-50

This model is a compact lens hood designed for the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN lens. It is not compatible with the original lens cap and may not work with filters.

Construction Features:

• The diameter of the hood is nearly identical to that of the lens.
• It has a height of approximately 14mm.
• No black corners are observed in images due to the hood's design.
• The cap attaches with a clip mechanism rather than friction fit.

Printing Recommendations:

• It is recommended to print the spring part using PETG.
• Minimal support is required for printing the spring component, which should not pose difficulties.

Assembly Instructions:

• Insert one side of the spring into the slots on the cap.
• Squeeze the other side of the spring and secure it in place.
• Ensure the central ring is placed on the pin of the cap.
• Align the cap and use tiny drops of super glue to secure it.
• Be careful not to apply too much glue to avoid it flowing into the spring slots.
