# FORBIDDEN PLANET COOKIE CUTTERS

Who doesn't want to host a party centered around everyone's favorite 1950s science-fiction classic, *Forbidden Planet*? With these cookie cutters, we have you covered. For dessert, at least.

To use them, simply print them out, along with the rolling pin guides. Make your cookie dough, chill it, and roll it to the thickness of the guides, then use the cookie cutters to your heart's delight.

Please leave me a comment if you use these, it'll make my day.

## TIPS
- Use the cookie recipe, below, to get results consistent with the photographs
- Place the rolling guides on either side of your dough and use them to roll your dough to 3.5 mm thickness, which seemed to work well. (Please share if you learn something different)
- Spray the complex molds with a cooking spray (e.g. Pam) before each use
- You may have to blow into the tip of the blaster to loosen the dough there, because it has trouble releasing. The same goes for Robby's feet.****
- Use the thinnest spatula you have (and flour it) to transfer the cookie to the baking sheet with the least amount of distortion
- Hand wash your cookie cutters when you're done; they are not dishwasher safe
- **N00b baking tips for the beginner (me)**
+ Make sure you chill your dough for a couple of hours. Warm dough sticks to the cookie cutters.
+ After you make your dough, only work with 1/3 of it at a time. Keep the rest chilling in the refrigerator so it doesn't warm up and become sticky.
+ Put plenty of flour on your work surface, rolling pin, and spatula. Refresh as you work.
+ If your cookie comes out of the cutter in multiple pieces, just place them next to each other on the baking sheet and they'll connect back together as they bake
