The starter is designed for the Toyota 22RE engine and represents the initial stage of a project. A SketchUp file is included for modification to your needs.
- Starter support and gear are fully adjustable and have been tested for errors.
- The electric motor with a diameter of 27-30 mm and a length of 60 mm can be found on eBay or Amazon (D shaft 4 mm).
- Ensure there is a distance of 20 mm for mounting holes.
- For installing the gear with diameters of 3-5 mm, it is preferable to use a plastic D shaft, as standard round shafts may crack.
- For proper installation, it's better to print at a slow speed with solid infill, checking internal dimensions for cleanliness.
- The starter table with a thickness of 2.5 mm should be printed with 50-100% infill to prevent bending.
- The starter mounting plate has been added with thicknesses of 3 mm and 3.5 mm for added stiffness.
