This model is designed to fit 3/4" French cleats, providing 4 inches of clearance between the top edge of the lower cleat and the bottom of the next one. The spacer fits snugly and does not easily lift out, so it is recommended to use it for pre-drilling and remove it before installing screws, or to leave the end of your cleat open for easy removal.
