Introducing the Appollo EGGteen model rocket, fully 3D-printable and designed for a model rocket competition at TUM. The mission: send an egg as high as possible and bring it back intact.

Key Features:

Modular body design
Slide-on fin system
Friction-fit nose cone
Compartment for standard model rocket motor
Heat-protected small piston
DIY parachute made from an emergency rescue blanket
Room for an egg or other payloads

The rocket performed admirably during test flights; however, the final launch experienced a slight balance issue, resulting in an emergency landing. Nonetheless, the project was a joy to build, and we hope our design inspires others to embark on their own egg missions.
