I designed a cup holder for a Toyota Camry (2007-10) to replace the missing middle section. The cup holder compartment is very shallow and asymmetrical in design.

The goal was to replace the missing (but spring-loaded) OEM part with a device that could accommodate a large gulp cup. The cup holder I designed has two parts:

1) Freestanding cup holder
2) Frame that attaches to the cup holder and holds large cups securely in place.

The shallow cup holder was never intended to accommodate larger cups. The car's folding cup holder drawer greatly complicated this design, as the box is not square in any direction and has a hinge.
