J-Pole Antenna is designed for use with Meshtastic at 433 MHz. It features a simple design with a choke and is primarily intended for indoor use; it is not weatherproof. Adapting it for outdoor use may be possible with durable plastic and proper sealing, but this has not been tested.

Note that plastic can impact the antenna's electrical characteristics, making it impossible to reproduce the antenna with exactly the same parameters every time. All tuning must be conducted with the antenna fully assembled, with the plastic housing in its final position.

Long element length: 423 mm (requires tuning; start with an extra 20–30 mm)
Feed point: approximately 30 mm (requires tuning)
