This 3D-printable Book Nook is inspired by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It captures a magical moment where darkness retreats under the power of a spell.
For the glowing magic effect, translucent light blue PLA works best. Darker blues or black filament can be used for Harry, the sky, the forest, and outer layers. White or light beige is recommended for other parts.
Use a standard IKEA STRIMSÄV LED spotlight, which slides into a rail on the back (with a button) for adjustable lighting. Print the box and insert the puck light (no glue needed). Experiment with the positioning of printed sheets for various effects. Expecto Patronum!
Multiple Book Nook designs fit the same box, created by our team during a Christmas activity. If you lack a 3D printer, search for local 3D printing services.
