This model is designed to keep soluble supports submerged. Usage Instructions:

  • Place your prints with soluble supports in a standard 5-gallon bucket filled with your solution.
  • Set the 'Bucket Thing' on top and add a weight for stabilization.
  • Using utensils like knives and spoons works well for weighting down.

Warm, slightly soapy water is recommended for accelerating the dissolution process. The bucket used in this project has an inside diameter of approximately 285 mm at the top and 255 mm at the bottom, with a depth of about 360 mm. The model fits any 5-gallon bucket.

Materials: PETG is recommended, but almost any material except PVA will work fine. Minimum print bed size is 285 mm on both X and Y axes. The wall thickness is designed to be 1.2 mm.
