The modified BT-168D now allows for the measurement of 3.7V 18650 Li-Ion batteries, overcoming previous size limitations. This enhancement enables the user to test batteries by placing the meter on a table, simplifying the measurement process. This is achieved through a reduction in the lower casing thickness and repositioning of the terminals.

The design consists of two parts to facilitate printing without supports, enhancing the quality of the joint sections. The upper part with the display remains original; only the lower part requires manufacturing and replacement of the sliding mechanism. Terminals must also be reattached.
