Description:
This is an experimental 3D-printed BMX brake component. Use at your own risk. 3D-printed parts may fail due to print settings, material quality, or environmental factors. This design is not a certified safety product. Always test the part thoroughly off the bike and at low speeds before riding.
Printing Tips:
- Material: PETG is recommended for a good balance of strength and flexibility.
- Walls: Minimum of 6 vertical walls, ideally 9 for added strength.
- Infill: 60-80% to maintain solidity while reducing weight.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
- Orientation: The file is pre-oriented for optimal printing.
Required Hardware:
- 2 x 30mm M5 Hex socket head cap bolts
- 2 x M5 Nylock nuts
- Brake cable with lug
