This NTP clock model features an ESP32 D1 Mini and two 2.42" OLED displays for additional temperature and humidity readings.

  • Components:
  • ESP32 D1 Mini
  • 2x 2.42" SSD1309 I2C OLED displays
  • Black acrylic plate, 150x50 mm
  • Fasteners: 13x M3 short threads, 12x M3 screws 5-6 mm, 1x M2.5 thread, 1x M2.5 screw 15-16 mm for the sensor
  • Sensor: GY-SHT31-D (nylon screws recommended)
  • Double-sided tape for ESP32
  • Cables for connections and USB

The displays are connected to the ESP32's I2C port. I2C addresses must be verified using a scanner. The GY-SHT31-D sensor connects via software I2C. An Arduino sketch is included, with settings available in German or English; SSID and password need to be entered. Time zone is set for Germany.

A software reset occurs on the first day of every month at midnight to prevent the clock from freezing. A smaller version is available at this link.
