This model features a smart radio-controlled joystick compatible with PPM and SBUS outputs. It automatically detects and adapts to the emitted protocol, supporting:
Utilizing USB HID with 16-bit accuracy, the joystick connects to the ESP32-S3 board, transforming PPM or SBUS signals into HID commands. It works seamlessly with various PPM or SBUS signals.
To safeguard the ESP32-S3 GPIO when using 5V logic, a resistor bridge is recommended. The source code is available for programming with Arduino IDE. For testing the joystick on Windows, simply type "joy.cpl" in the search bar.
Advantages of SBUS over PPM include the ability to use up to 16 channels, providing 8 proportional axes and 8 buttons mapped to channels 9-16.
