Object 757A was designed at the Chelyabinsk Machine-Building Plant under P.P. Isakov as part of R&D project No. 3. The model is equipped with a 125-mm gun-launcher for Rubin missiles or Bur unguided rockets.
Main features:
- Mounted on the chassis of Object 770
- Reduced number of road wheels to 5 per side
- Enhanced protection against shaped-charge weapons
An experimental prototype underwent trials in 1959, but further work was halted due to the closure of heavy tank development in the USSR.
