The Opel Omega is a car produced by the German manufacturer Opel. It replaced the Opel Rekord and was voted European Car of the Year in 1987.

Model features:

Available in sedan and station wagon (Caravan) body styles.
Competed with Ford Scorpio and Rover 800.
Widely used as a police car in the UK, Benelux, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
Popular for conversion into limousines and hearses.
Production ceased in 2003.

The Omega A entered production in September 1986 and featured high aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.28. It introduced many technological innovations such as electronic engine management and ABS. Models were available in four trim levels: LS, GL, GLS, and CD.
