The Jasper Station model is designed at a 1:87 scale, inspired by the actual Jasper Station in Canada. It includes features like roof rafters, which are optional for assembly.
Print using PLA and utilize ordinary Klean-Strip lacquer thinner as an adhesive. Conduct a test with two flat pieces of PLA to verify its effectiveness. The adhesive leaves no residue and is applied with a small brush. For stronger bonds, consider Testors Cement for Plastic Models.
For painting, I recommend using oil paints such as Windsor and Newton Griffin Fast Drying Oils, which offer rich colors and durability. Thinning with mineral spirits can achieve remarkable weathering effects.
All models are based on real-world measurements, allowing for interchangeability with other structures. Import the .STL file into any CAD program, like TinkerCAD, to create new designs.
