Multimeter Probe Grip & Tweezers System

The Multimeter Probe Grip & Tweezers System is designed to enhance the usability of multimeter probes. This project is based on the BEST probes model BST-050-JP, featuring rings that provide additional slip resistance.

When left on a desk, probes can slide off due to the weight of the cable. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) effectively prevents this by creating friction and keeping the probes in place.

While the probes and cable are of high quality, the handles fall short in grip. Our add-on grips improve ergonomics. Printing with TPU requires specific settings: low speed and minimal resistance during filament feeding. I used a 0.4 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.12 mm to achieve good print quality.

For better results, I recommend reducing the print speed by half. Additional links to probes and tools are provided below.
