Description:

This shiny white porcelain quail was discovered in a Goodwill store. According to Google AI, it was made in Japan and was a popular decorative item in the mid-20th century, often sold in sets.

Model Features:

The STL file is provided at full scale.
The smaller versions shown are at half and three-quarter scales.
Scanning was accomplished using the Revopoint POP 3 Plus 3D Scanner.
The object is hollow with an irregular bottom that has a hole.
Scanning was performed on a layer of white clay included in the process.

The resulting STL file has been edited to retain as much of the quail as possible. Note that a bit of clay is visible near the tail end, and the very tip of the tail was trimmed to create a flat surface suitable for printing.
