This 4x3 macropad features a volume knob and is built around the Pi Pico rp2040 using CircuitPython. It includes scripts for functionality. The case has a hole for a momentary switch that allows the Pico to remain hidden unless GP15 is shorted to ground during connection.
A 10K rotary potentiometer is used for the volume control. You'll need to adjust the upper and lower limits in code.py. It’s advisable to add a capacitor for smoother volume adjustments; a 2.2uF is used, but a 100nF would be ideal.
A desk mount is included for a 45-degree angle on the front of the desk. Blender files are available for further design improvements. Updated on 23/2/26: the case has been modified for better cable management. Your enhancements are welcome!
