Model: Panzer IV 10.5 cm leFH 18/40/2 (sf) auf G.W. Pz.Kpfw. III/IV
Scale: 1:100
History: Crew consisted of 5 personnel. Armament: 10.5 cm leFH 18/40/2 howitzer with 80 rounds. Engine: Maybach HL 120 TRM (300 hp), capable of 36 km/h and a 300 km operational range. Armor: 10–30 mm thick, with a fixed superstructure on a turntable.
Design Flexibility: The howitzer could be dismounted and used as a towed gun, a unique feature for a self-propelled design.
The project was demonstrated in May 1944, with a production order for 250 units (35 to be completed by February 1945), but mass production never commenced. Today, only one example exists. The project was canceled in December 1944 due to limited strategic advantage over existing systems like the Hummel, Wespe, and Grille.
