A common issue for the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka is a weak handbrake button that may break. The button is not sold separately, but there is a solution.

Instructions:

  • This is not an OEM style replacement button, but installation is straightforward — just apply some lube to the sliding surface.
  • Apply some force, insert the button into the original socket on the handbrake lever, and you're done!

Please note that in some markets (e.g., UK), the dealer may be able to replace the handbrake lever under warranty.

For this project, you will need an M3 x 12mm Button Head Screw.

The white slider inside the handbrake lever slot must be present; otherwise, this new button will not work correctly.

Due to varying weather conditions, it is highly recommended to print the button from materials such as PETG or ABS for durability.

The models in this release are free for non-commercial use.
