This model is designed to seal caulking tubes that do not come with a cap. It prevents the contents from drying out and features a small piece that plugs the hole to help keep the tip intact. Once the material inside the cap dries, it prevents further drying inside the tube.
The cap is compatible with various brands of tubes, and feedback on its effectiveness would be appreciated. Printed with ABS, it takes about 6-8 minutes for a print with 95% infill and a small brim at the base. It is recommended to print with the small tip on the bed to avoid the need for supports.
