This model represents a 24-cell, also known as a hyperdiamond, perspective projected to form a tetrakis hexahedron. The 24-cell is the 6th Platonic solid, existing only in 4 dimensions.

The tetrakis hexahedron is a visually striking projection of this object into 3D, featuring 24 triangular faces reminiscent of the 24 octahedral cells.

Key Features:

Only 23 out of 24 vertices and 88 out of 96 edges are visible due to overlapping in the center.
Allowing overlaps reveals all 24 octahedra.
