This model features customizable dovetail joiners created using the dovetail() function from the BOSL2 OpenSCAD library. It includes several examples:

DovetailDemo.stl: a self-locking dovetail for joining two parts.

DovetailDemo_30degJoin.stl: a non-self-locking dovetail with a 30° angle.

DovetailDemo_Wood0p5x6deg.stl: a 1/2" dovetail with 6° angles for 3/4" wood.

DovetailDemo_BeadSightMarble.stl: a 3/8" dovetail with 60° angles and ~0.10" height for bead sights.

DovetailDemo_11mmRail.stl and DovetailDemo_3_8ths_Rail.stl: dovetails for mounting optics with specified dimensions.

Note that the 11mm dovetails are designed to register vertically off the top surface, while the 3/8" dovetails register off the bottom of the groove. Proper matching of dovetail form and angle is crucial for accurate fitting.
