This model is a creative twist on the traditional Easter egg. Please note that it requires supports for successful printing.
- Support type: organic
- Overhang angle: 35 degrees
- Support required for: base and dome
- Support for arms: 5mm high cylinder at 60mm height
For enhanced stability, consider sinking the egg below the build plate by 0.5 - 1.0mm. I used 15% infill: rectilinear for the first 13mm and lightning infill for the rest. The rectilinear fill at the bottom strengthens the arms and reduces the need for supports. Additionally, 2 perimeters and a brim were employed.
