This project features an adjustable flexible fume extractor holder that moves along the entire length of your desk, a function not found in commercial units.
Required materials:
- Steel profile tube 20x20mm (or 3/4 inch for the US)
- Flexible armored duct (80µm)
- Turbine fan (any model, with adjustable mounts)
- Exhaust duct
- 16 bearings 625
- M5x22mm bolts (8 pcs) and M5 nuts (8 pcs)
Printing and assembly: Parts can be printed without supports. Ensure proper measurement of the steel tube diameter to select the correct components. For the flexible arm, use varying stiffness levels based on segment length.
This project is challenging but yields impressive results!
