Cookie Recipe:

• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 pinch of salt

Instructions: In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a dough forms. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 5 mm thickness. Cut using the cookie cutter. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool before decorating.
