This motor bogie is designed for the Pauline Charentaise Type 2 railcar from Éditions Atlas. Featuring a short wheelbase, it utilizes a unique design with the motor inclined at 45° to drive a single axle, while the other axle serves as a load-bearing component.
For optimal traction, it is recommended to use two motor bogies. Each bogie consists of:
The support arm comes in three angle options: 3°, 4°, and 5°, allowing for adjustments based on the amount of ballast added. As ballast increases, the angle of the arm must be adjusted to prevent wheel slippage.
An additional bogie fairing mimics the side panel of the bogie and can be easily attached. Parts were printed using standard PLA on a Bambulab A1 Combo printer.
