Knife Sharpening Jig v2 features a self-centering design with swivel and linear action. While dimensions can be adjusted in Onshape, the project lacks full optimization.
Features:
- Self-centering clamping
- Two handles: linear and swivel
- Optimized for shallow grinding angles (≈15°)
- Parametric CAD for easy modifications
Caveats:
- No handle length adjustment
- Flat spring design for retention
Materials: PLA for rigidity, PET-G for slight flexibility, various bolts and hardware.
Printing Recommendations: Calibrate flow rate before printing, use dynamic supports, and large brims to avoid warping.
