Introducing the 'whipper' desktop trebuchet, capable of launching small objects up to 20 meters. This model is fully 3D printed, except for a bit of cotton and cloth for the sling. An STL is available if you have soft TPU.
Key Features:
- Operates on 18 UK 2p coins (26mm diameter, 2mm thickness, 7 grams weight).
- Effectively uses balled-up aluminum foil within a range of 6-10 meters.
- 5:1 arm ratio with an estimated launch velocity of around 10-12 m/s.
