Cookie Recipe Ingredients:

• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 pinch of salt

Instructions: In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until uniform dough forms. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 5 mm thickness. Cut using the cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 8–12 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool before decorating.
