This is a model of Gilbert from the Roblox game Somewhere, Wales. It is recommended to print the model on its side for smoother edges.
Required materials:
- Sandpaper
- Model filler putty
- Plastic drinking straw (7mm for chimney and bearings)
- Paper (for cab roof)
- Paperclips (to create coupling hooks)
- Tiny chain (such as from a necklace)
- Nails (2mm for crankpins, cut to size)
- Glue (hot glue recommended)
- Spray paint or airbrush
- Primer
Recommended sizes:
- Straw length for chimney: approximately 38mm
- Bearing straw bits: about 20mm
- Crankpins: 4mm for middle wheels and 3mm for others
Customization options are included: you can change the location of sandboxes and filler caps. The model is built to a 1:24 scale (25mm gauge). Rails and ties for display are included.
