We present a ready-to-print high-precision 3D model (STL file) of the drive gear for the electric window lifter of VAZ (Lada) Kalina cars.
Cut or worn teeth on the original plastic gear are the most common cause of a stuck window. Often, car dealerships offer to buy the entire window lifter mechanism or motor assembly, which is unreasonably expensive. By downloading this digital model, you get the opportunity to print a part for pennies and quickly restore the operation of the mechanism.
Features of our 3D model:
Precise Tooth Profile: The ring gear and internal seat geometry are designed to factory specifications for smooth engagement with the motor worm shaft.
Optimized for 3D printing: The model does not contain mesh errors, does not require complex supports and is completely ready for loading into the slicer.
Durability: When using the right materials, the printed part is as durable as the original part.
3D Printing Recommendations:
Material (Important!): The gear is subject to severe friction, shear stress and heat inside the car door in the summer. You should absolutely not use PLA or standard PETG. The ideal choice would be Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), POM or, at a minimum, quality ABS/ASA.
Equipment: If printing is performed on modern closed devices, such as Bambu Lab P1S or similar CoreXY systems, working with heat-shrinkable nylon or ABS will go without problems, and the part will be as monolithic as possible.
Printing parameters: We recommend 100% infill (Infill) and a minimum layer height (0.1 - 0.16 mm) for the most accurate and smooth drawing of teeth.
Lubrication: Before installing the finished part into the mechanism, be sure to generously lubricate it with silicone or lithium lubricant that is safe for plastic.
