Improvements
This set includes a redesigned base and a matching sliding lid for better handling. If the lid is too tight, you may reprint it with a width reduction of 0.2 mm.
Challenges
The set consists of 12 classic pentomino pieces plus one O-tetromino to completely fill the 8 x 8 area. Tasks include:
- 2D: Fit all pieces flat into the box.
- 3D: Create structures such as a 3 x 4 x 5 block.
Mathematical Background
Pentominoes are polyforms made of 5 squares, with 12 unique arrangements. The 3D versions represent specific pentacubes. Note: Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts.
